We are always outside - whether it be with the dog, the horses, or watching one of the children’s activities - and the one thing I really struggle with is cold hands. These handy little pocket and hand warmers are perfect, just to take the chill off.
Pop them in the microwave for 20 to 30 seconds (depends on your microwave, you will have to adjust this accordingly) and they will keep the chill off for approximately 20 minutes. Why not add a dash or two of your favourite essential oil too? - Natasha

To make this item, you will need:
  • Offcuts of fabulous cotton fabric - leftover charm pack squares would be ideal
  • OPTIONAL: 1/4” quilter's washaway tape
  • Uncooked rice
  • A piece of paper
  • Co-ordinating thread - this must be 100% COTTON, NOT polyester
  • General sewing equipment
