When I travel, I like to take my jewellery with me, safe in the knowledge it will be tangle-free and neatly organised when I arrive at my destination. This particular case has been designed with a range of useful features including: a secure zipped pocket, ring holder, punched holes for earrings, elastic bands to enable you to transport necklaces and bracelets, sewable plastic pocket so you can see exactly what you’ve got where... and best of all? To make this project, you will need:
- Fat eighth of sewable cork
- FQ beautiful lining fabric
- FQ fusible fleece interfacing (Natasha used Vlieseline H640)
- 19cm Straight Metal Purse Clasp
- 9” square of felt
- A snap fastener
- An 8” zip (minimum length - can be longer and cut to size)
- Three elastic hair bands
- 8” x 2½” piece of sewable plastic
- Quilters' ¼" washaway tape
- Co-ordinating thread
- Basic sewing equipment
