INSTRUCTIONS: Hourglass Bargello Quilt: PRINTED VERSION

SKU: NM_70_40018617P

£8.99

"Inspired by the embroidery technique, which was itself inspired by chairs found in the Bargello Palace in Florence, this patchwork is fun and easy to do and gives stunning results.

This quilt looks so different from those created in our previous bargello quilt demos, yet the technique to create the block is the same. The 'hourglass' shape is created by a simple rotation of blocks, proving just how versatile the bargello technique is."

Pattern by Jane Alcock, exclusively for Natasha Makes

  • High quality step-by-step instructions in full colour, printed and posted out to you
  • Approx finished size is 58" x 52"

To make this project, you will need (available to purchase separately):

    • Ten fabrics in shades of one or two colours, ranging from dark to light or a rainbow spectrum.  (I think this might be the hardest part of this project, as there are so many combinations to choose from). You need four 2½” WOF strips from each colour, so a Long Quarter of each fabric might not be quite wide enough.  If you buy half metre pieces of your chosen fabrics, you will have some left over for your stash or to add borders.  A jelly roll can work well with this pattern too.
    • 1.25m of 100% cotton plain fabric for borders and binding
    • Wadding
    • Backing fabric
    • Co-ordinating sewing thread
    • General sewing equipment

Instructions Only - Fabric Kit not included (sold separately)

Drop shipping is a supply chain management method in which the retailer does not keep goods in stock but instead transfers its customer's orders and shipment details to either the manufacturer, another retailer, or a wholesaler, who then ships the goods directly to the customer.

How do I know if my order is drop ship? Where you see another manufactures, suppliers or designers name displayed above the product titles, other than 'Natasha Makes' your order will be drop ship and delivered directly by another manufacturer, retailer, or wholesaler.

A Drop shipped item can take up to 3 - 5 days on top of the estimated delivery time on all products.
