"The Eccentric Star block introduces the Half Square Triangle: two triangles that create a square. These are easy to make: starting with two squares, we can create two Half Square Triangle Units at once.

We just need to remember the formula of adding ⅞” to the finished size of the required unit, i.e. we need 6” finished units, so we’ll cut our starting squares at 6⅞”."

    To make this project, you will need (available to purchase separately):

    • Three long quarters of three fabrics: Jane recommends light (Fabric A), medium (Fabric B) and dark (Fabric C) shades of plain or tone on tone fabrics. Fabric B is the larger square so a print can be used if preferred.
    • Co-ordinating thread
    • Basic sewing equipment including rotary cutter and quilting ruler
    • Instructions Only - Fabric Kit not included (sold separately)

    Postage and packing for UK residents is a set fixed rate of £4.95 (unless your order is over £150, which qualifies you for FREE shipping). We will always use the most appropriate service to get your parcels delivered to you as safely as we can. 
    This does mean your orders may arrive through different couriers and when it is provided we will send you a tracking ID. 
    For European customers, the postage and packing fee is based on the size of your order and once again will be sent via the  most appropriate postal service at the time.
